How Does It Work?
Step 1: Consultation
Your transformation will start with an initial consultation prior to your appointment. During this time we will make sure that you are a good candidate for the procedure. We will discuss and choose colors, shapes and talk about our goals for the procedure. We will fill out medical and consent forms and talk about preparation and aftercare. Our goal is to make you comfortable for your procedure. Brow shape will be simulated prior to making them permanent.
Step 2: Procedure 1
Clients
will be guided and advised for color and placement selection, the
client will have the final say in shape selection and approval before placement of the
pigment. Numerous stencils are available as a guide for clients that need brow replacement or reshaping. Clients will be able to periodically view the transformation during the procedure.
Eyebrow
placement will be simulated by drawing them on using the pigment
choice (see photos below). This will appear at first really dark and heavy looking as you
will be seeing concentrated pigment sitting on your skin --- this is
NOT the final result and only a guide for the placement of the pigment. We approach our first treatment conservatively and leave room for adding more color on the second treatment.
Phases of Brow Development
1. Pigment Drawn on with first application (pigment on skin and under skin). |
|
2. Pigment cleaned off surface showing first development phase of implanted pigment. You can see clients natural hair is very blonde. |
|
3. Pigment development completed and surface cleaned. |

Step 3: Procedure 2
This is your touch up appointment. This appointment needs to be scheduled between 30 days after your initial appointment for eyeliner and brows and 60-90 days for lip treatments.
What does it look like during the healing process?
There is typically no downtime after a procedure. Swelling is generally minimal and many describe the after affects as feeling similar to a sunburn or just sore. Sunglasses will need to be worn after eye procedures and makeup needs to be avoided around the treatment area for at least 5 days and contacts avoided for at least 24 hours. Discomfort for some is gone the same day and for others can take longer.
